The Rolls Building contains 31 courtrooms, which vary in size and configuration to accommodate trials and hearings of all kinds. There are three “super-courts” for the very largest cases. Consultation rooms are located near each court for the use of parties attending trials and hearings. These can be booked by e-mail or phone: RBconsultationrooms@justice.gov.uk; 020 7947 6585/6315.

As a modern, purpose-built Court complex, the Rolls Building is compatible with legal information-technology. Facilities are available for parties to use their own equipment, such as simultaneous electronic transcripts and systems for the electronic display of documents. Video-conferencing facilities and simultaneous-translation booths can be made available in courtrooms. There is full Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the building.

There is no on-site catering, but snacks and hot and cold drinks are available from vending machines on each floor, and there are numerous shops, cafes, and restaurants in the immediate area.
